Item #P960 - Egyptian Revival Pharaoh Cameo Jewel Frame Purse - $225.00
This is really a fabulous find, with a wonderful, detailed brass frame
prong set with 10 molded glass cameos of a Pharaoh's head. They appear
to have been painted gold and are worn in a few places so the white
glass underneath shows through, which doesn't detract from the
appearance of the purse, but actually seems to add to the charm of it.
The pull tab opener of the frame is set with one more prong set Pharaoh
head. The body of the purse is black velvet and inside it is lined in
black satin with a side pocket and a label that reads "Lujean". It
measures approximately 7" by 7", excluding the lovely chain handle. I
just really can't express what an unusual, unique little bag this is.
The overall condition is extremely good.
