Item #P962 - Gold Thread Embroidered Petit Point Purse - SOLD
Beautiful antique purse made up of a petit point floral bouquet in an
urn surrounded by fold thread embroidery inset with small pearls. The
design is the same on both sides and the sides of the purse are a
fabric with gold metallic threads woven through. It is attached to an
ornate gold metal frame and has small filigree pull with a ruby-red
bezel set stone, and measures approximately 4 3/4" x 6". Inside the
lining is stained from use but still intact with no signs of
deterioration. This purse is on page 94 in "A Passion for Purses". The
overall condition is very good.
