Item #P743 - Figural Petitpoint Purse - SOLD
This is a wonderful petitpoint purse with an incredible twenty eight
figures on it. Most of the figures are wearing robes and laurel wreaths
on their heads. The figure at the center of the gathering is playing a
violin. The figures are surrounded by foliage and a floral border with
a black edging. The frame is a silver metal with a raised wrapped wire
motif. It measures 8 ½” by 7”, excluding the silver snake chain handle.
It is lined in black and has a little label that reads “Made in
France.” The overall condition is very good.
