Item #J812 - Hobe-Style Crown Pin - $395.00
This is a wonderful c.1930/40’s Hobe-style or possibly unsigned Robert
pin measuring 2 5/8” by 2 ¼”. It looks like a crown with huge oval 1 ¼”
by 5/8” open back faceted amber glass bezel set stones and smaller open
back stones in green and light yellow. The design is then surrounded by
smaller foil backed stones in orange, brown, pale yellow and green. It
is done in a gold metal setting with hand applied twisted wire metal
work that is seen in Hobe and Robert pieces. Beside the pin back it
also has a bale attached to the top of the piece so it can be worn as a
pendant. Fabulous piece in extremely good condition.
